Read the page as Markdown for LLMs

Version 1.6.0 strengthens enterprise governance, extends scheduled automation, and improves operational control across STAIR environments.

Released October 14, 2026.

Security and Governance

  • User-based integration access: MCP integrations support authorization on behalf of the current user, enabling connected systems to enforce individual access rights.
  • Workflow classification: Enterprise classification extends to workflows. STAIR shows classified-item counts and warns about affected resources when classifications are renamed, merged, or deleted.
  • Execution history retention: Configurable retention periods determine how long workflow execution history is stored, with automatic removal of older records.

Agents and Automation

  • Agent scheduling: Scheduled execution extends from workflows to agents, with controls for managing schedule access.
  • Model context management: Model-aware summarization and configurable agent capabilities improve support for language models with smaller context windows.

Platform Administration

  • Environment portability: A unified export and import wizard supports configuration transfers, dependency handling, and access-control mapping.
  • Execution visibility: Execution logs can be viewed and filtered directly in STAIR.
  • Licensing: Licensing options extend to users and concurrent execution sessions.
  • Localization: German language support is available.

FAQ

How does STAIR 1.6.0 support small-context LLMs?

The Context Window field on a model sets the chat summarization threshold, and system prompt parts and tool availability can be configured for small-context models.
